As an independent familyrun business you won't be confined to specific hearing aid brands. This means you have the flexibility to choose the most suitable hearing aids for your patients.
You'll be equipped with a full suite of tools allowing tailored consultations. This includes Video Otoscopy Tympanometry Speech Testing REMs Microsuction and Irrigation equipment.
Supported by a dedicated clinical care team you'll have opportunities for ongoing training and role expansion. This enables you to provide exceptional care to your patients while advancing your personal skill set.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments to gauge the nature and extent of patients' hearing loss.
Offer expert guidance on hearing solutions including hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
Select fit and dispense appropriate hearing aids ensuring patient comfort and functionality.
Conduct followup appointments for adjustments and addressing patient concerns.
Provide counselling and support to patients and their families aiding adaptation to hearing aids and managing hearing loss.
Maintain precise patient records documenting assessments treatment plans and progress notes.
Stay abreast of audiology advancements and hearing aid technology through continuous education.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to offer comprehensive hearing care services.
Participate in marketing efforts to raise awareness about hearing healthcare services.
Unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this role you will need to have a full Uk drivers' licence
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's Degree in Hearing Aid Audiology or related field.
Valid certification as an Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser.
15 years' experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in hearing assessment techniques hearing aid technology and assistive listening devices.
Excellent communication problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in using audiometric equipment and software.
Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with patients experiencing hearing loss.
Patientfocused mindset committed to enhancing patients' quality of life.
Salary and Benefits:
Competitive annual salary of £40000 with up to a 20% bonus based on sales revenue in line with qualifications and experience.
