This is a remote position.
We are seeking a diligent and detailoriented AU Insurance Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting regulatory requirements pertaining to commercial insurance in Australia. They will develop implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures conduct audits and assessments and collaborate with internal teams to address compliance concerns.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements related to commercial insurance in Australia.
- Develop implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize HubSpot to track and manage compliance tasks documentation and reporting.
- Utilize INSIGHT broking platform to file client interactions and lodge renewals process for clients.
- Respond promptly and professionally to compliance inquiries and requests via email.
- Assist with the preparation of compliance reports and presentations for management.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry best practices related to commercial insurance.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior experience in compliance roles within the insurance industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards in commercial insurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Proficiency in using HubSpot Microsoft Office suite and INSIGHT broking platform is advantageous.
- Experience in file keeping and document management.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements: Previous experience in the Mortgage Broking field, with a proven track record of success. Strong knowledge of loan products, lending criteria, and industry regulations. Experience using AFG Flex or similar loan writing software preferred. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
