Associate Manager - Strategic Sourcing - Formulation

Core Purpose of the Role:

Sourcing & procurement of API Excipients Primary & secondary Packing material RLD (Reference listed drugs) Impurities standards.

Role Accountabilities:

• Manage the Supplier life cycle including supplier selection assessment development and supplier consolidation Floating of enquiries in market.
• Get the Best possible quote from Vendors. Comparison of quotes. Negotiations on Price Payment terms delivery date etc.
• Conversion of Purchase Requisition to Purchase order in SAP within Turnaround time of 3 days.
• Coordinate with cross functional leads from project management Development team etc.
• Preparation of MIS on daily basis about PR to PO conversion along with delivery updates.
• Alternate vendor development for all raw materials.
• Follow the SOPs to complete the task.
• Must follow all the cGMP practices.
• Performa vendor evaluation

Specific requirements for this role:

• Must have knowledge of SAP
• Must have Knowledge of cGMP practices.
• Must have knowledge of Vendor development process & approval criteria.
• Should have good knowledge of Pharma industry and related vendors.

Education and Experience

• BSc MSc B Pharma M Pharma Btech (chemical) MBA (international business Operations) would be added advantage.
