Our client a mid market corporate finance firm are currently looking to hire an Associate Director to join their M&A team. In this role you will work alongside an experienced team and support the Directors on cradle to grave deal execution. This role is well suited to ACA or CFA qualified candidates who have at least 710 yrs experience working in the Irish M&A market.
- Project managing transactions from start of mandate to completion
- Managing and mentoring CF team at Manager and Associate levels
- Leading drafting of information memoranda
- Performing research for potential buyers and developing investment theses for them
- Preparing initial views on valuation using commonly used valuation techniques
- Liaising with interested parties
- Overseeing data management
Requirements
- Developing the financial analysis and modelling skills across the team
- Assisting in the business development aspect of the business e.g. identifying potential new clients PE firm profile analyses building relationships with peers across PE firms and corporates engaged in regular M&A activity
- Contributing to the overall development of the CF business including collaboration with the other Irish divisions and with the CF team in the UK
- Overseeing the onboarding risk management process for all engagements
- Coordinating invoicing and general financial management for engagements

A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA At least 10 years experience in a debt advisory advisory role Recent material track record of new client origination Experience in building and retaining strong client relationships The ability to develop solutions which deliver value for clients Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex issues to clients Ambitious and self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a cohesive entrepreneurial team Strong commitment to professionalism and client service excellence Capital markets experience/knowledge advantageous
