SUMMARY: The primary responsibilities of the Associate Director Business Process & Systems will be to serve as Supply Chain Planning's liaison to provide ongoing system and process support for planning applications and reporting systems. This role will manage a team of business process and system experts that foster lean thinking and process adoption and maturity principles centered on meeting the established business and financial objectives. This position will lead functional design activities and continuous improvements for Supply Chain around the demand, supply, inventory management, capacity planning, quality, customer service, and S&OP processes. The collective team is responsible for the education and training for: AFE Analysis for Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and SAP IBP.
REQUIREMENTS: Understand and utilize technology/tools to derive robust and sustainable reports and processes; clearly document and articulate business purpose, source of record, and business benefits; drive to reduce off-line or ad-hoc reporting and processes; meet regularly with business owners to identify benefits from standardizing and increasing system and report usage; prioritize business issues in IT's backlog and communicate business impacts and required deadlines especially in an environment of conflicting expectations.
Education: Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. M
Experience: 10 years related experience in business and/or applications support experience required, with a concentration in supply chain preferred.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal written and presentation communication skills.
Special Skills: High degree of project management experience required. Previous Supervisory experience required; High degree of personal presentation skills required; Previous successful experience managing multiple complex projects required.
Supervisory: Responsible for supervision for other team members.
Travel: 6-11 domestic trips per year.
Location: This position will be based out of Tyson's Corporate Headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas. Relocation assistance may be provided for those candidates that meet the Tyson Relocation policy guidelines.
