Our client is a vibrant and recognized law practice committed to offering highquality labor and employment law services. With a dedication to quality and a focus on client satisfaction we are looking for a highly qualified and driven Labor & Employment Defense Attorney to join our growing team.

We are now looking for an Associate Attorney with a solid history in litigation. The ideal applicant will be a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a track record of effectively resolving labor and employment issues. Bilingual in Spanish is desirable.

Candidates must have at least two years of labor and employment or civil litigation experience. This is not a position for someone who recently passed the bar or is still in law school.

This is an inperson position so you must live within commuting distance of our Rocklin office. Dogfriendly offices.

Compensation: $120000 $180000

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
  • Exceptional communication skills and problemsolving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients
  • Candidates must have passed the CALIFORNIA bar exam

Responsibilities

  • Litigation: Represent clients in labor and employment cases such as wrongful termination discrimination harassment and wage and hour issues.
  • Advice and Counseling: Offer legal advise to clients on a variety of labor and employment concerns such as policy formulation compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Client management entails developing and maintaining excellent client relationships understanding their business needs and offering efficient legal solutions.
  • Negotiation: Help clients resolve conflicts by negotiating settlements and agreements
  • Trial and Trial preparation: prepare for and attend trials as needed.
    Class Action and PAGA matters: manage the whole litigation process including discovery depositions and motion work
  • Legal Research: Stay updated on labor and employment rules and regulations by performing legal research to keep clients aware and compliant.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
