Job Role:
Accounts Receivables:
Establish objectives for the accounts receivable team in alignment with the accounting departments goals.
Oversee and monitor the processing of invoices ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
Ensure prompt and effective collection of payments from clients.
Conduct credit checks to assess creditworthiness and minimize credit risk.
Negotiate with clients in cases of nonpayment to reach mutually beneficial resolutions.
Perform GL scrutiny/reconciliation and generate monthly quarterly annual and adhoc forecasting reports for pending receivables.
Maintain organized records of invoices bills and deposits for efficient financial recordkeeping.
Uphold highquality invoicing and collection procedures ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Provide support to Accounts Receivable Clerks on a daily basis and contribute to the training of new team members.
Ensure that all team members adhere to accounting principles.
Stay abreast of industry and legislative changes particularly in Direct and Indirect Taxes.
Accounts Payables:
Collect necessary documents and information from new vendors for seamless onboarding.
Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices taking into account existing tax laws and regulations.
Monitor and educate the team on matters related to accounts payables to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Prepare monthly payables reports for presentation to the management to facilitate cash flow management .
Provide support during audits ensuring all relevant documentation and processes are in order .
Requirements:
Knowledge of financial transactions accounting principles and statutory compliance.
Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable/Payable Manager or Supervisor
Oversight and management of accounts payable processes.
Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel
Coordination with external parties for statutory compliance.
Team management and negotiation skills.
