Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to Assist the Restaurant Manager on Daily operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service managing staff controlling costs and maximizing profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager on daily operations.
  • Act as the guest service role model for the restaurants sets a good example of excellent customer service and creates a positiveatmosphereforguestrelations.
  • Make sure that all guests are given the best service which will increase our repeat customers.
  • Supervise staff and Train staff to perform allocated roles Assist customers with any query requests.
  • Monitor and supervise departmentwise operations.
  • Manage all areas of operations during scheduled shifts which include full interaction with the guest onthespot decisionmaking supporting the staff and ensuring that the guest needs are our main focus while enforcing standards for personal performances.
  • Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the Restaurant and with prior approvals from the management.
  • Assist staff needs and manage the smooth functioning of the Restaurant.
  • Act as a support system for all areas of the Restaurant.
  • Ensure the highest quality levels of hospitality to the guest with a pleasant approach.
  • Coordinate with the Head Office for purchases and maintenance.
  • Ensure staff are disciplined and report to duty on time and maintain our company brand image.
  • Ensure smooth handling of F&B operations at the Restaurant.
  • Ensure that enough staff strength is available for smooth operations on a daily basis.
  • Manage staff roster and staff accommodation coordination and attend to any staffrelated issues.
  • You may be required to be flexible in terms of duty hours since we are a hospitality industry.
  • Maintain a proper hierarchy of reporting to the Head office.
  • Ensure proper coordination between the kitchen and the front of the restaurant
  • Other duties may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field or equivalent
  • Proven experience of 34 years as a Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
  • Problem Solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Excellent Interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent Organisational and leadership skills
  • Dependable and reliable
