Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented individual to join our Human Resources team as an Assistant Officer. In this role you will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various functions including recruitment onboarding employee relations and HR record management.

Tasks

  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads screening resumes scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks
  • Coordinate new hire orientation sessions and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain HR databases and employee records ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Process employee paperwork related to hires promotions transfers and terminations
  • Assist with employee relations activities including investigating complaints and conducting exit interviews
  • Support HR projects and initiatives such as performance management employee engagement surveys and training programs
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team including scheduling meetings preparing documents and managing correspondence
  • Stay uptodate on HR policies procedures and best practices to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in an administrative role preferably in Human Resources
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
  • Familiarity with HRIS software and applicant tracking systems is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment
