Job Description for Legal & Accounts Profile:
Position Title: Legal & Accounts Specialist (Assistant Manager Accounts & Legal)
Location: Bangalore (Bangalore Regional Office Old Airport Exit Road HAL)
Reporting: Regional Finance Controller

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Legal & Accounts Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing legal and accounting functions ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Legal Compliance:
  • Review and interpret legal documents contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with local state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Assist in drafting and negotiating contracts and legal documents.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the business.
  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements reports and budgets.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify trends to support decisionmaking.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and records.
  • Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls.
  1. Tax Compliance:
  • Assist in tax planning and preparation of tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Respond to tax inquiries and audits.
  • Identify taxsaving opportunities and strategies.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Identify potential legal and financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage legal and financial exposure.
  • Recommend appropriate insurance coverage and risk management solutions.
  1. Communication and Collaboration:
  • Liaise with external legal counsel auditors and regulatory agencies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to address legal and financial issues.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Trade licenses Office registrations and legal agreements.
  • Working with lawyers on resolving and attending legal matters and issues related to Customer or consumer complaints in courts
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field. (Advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA CMABBA BCom & LLB preferred)
  • Proven experience of at least 8 years in legal and accounting roles preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting standards and tax laws.
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal and financial concepts effectively.
  • Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
