Qualification: Diploma Mechanical
Good knowledge of : GD&T Fits & Tolerance Mechanisms & Linkage Gear Trains Hand Tools CAD Measuring instruments.
Creating a product friendly and ergonomical assembly lay out.
Identifying the product wise assembly manpower and equipment required for assembly.
Preparing fixtures for assemblies to reduce the assembly timing and improve accuracy.
Maintaining the list of assembly fixtures and its validation status.
Preparing a tentative quarterly assembly plan and capacity analysis.
Preparing project plans for all the assembly projects.
Reviewing assembly schedules processes specifications process flows that are critical to the products and initiating actions wherever draw backs are observed.
Developing and implementing the assembly process improvements.
Preparing the product wise assembly route cards and assembly process wise check list by coordinating with QCM.
Maintaining the documentation of parts received from stores / QCM for assembly and customer property if any with documentation.
Preparing and maintain the approved assembly process documentation including SOPs WI assembly inspection reports route cards drawings etc.
Implementing project management activities for the total assembly. Monitoring the schedules and escalating in case of any issues.
Developing a detailed assembly work breakdown structure / flow chart of all the assemblies.
Resource identification and allocation of work on daily basis and monitoring its completion.
Performing root cause analysis in case of any rejection / rework in assembly.
To work with outsource manufacturers to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
Preparing RCCA for assembly rework rejection and or deviations if any.
Coordinating with customers for smooth completion of assembly activities.
Training the assembly fitters in reading the assembly drawings and following the approved WI / SOPs / and flow charts if any during assembly.
Maintaining 5S activities in assembly shop. (Onepoint lesson and visual controls)
Ensuring that all safety measures are implemented in the assembly shop.
