Location: Tewksbury MA 1876

Pay Rate: $19.00/Hr.$21.00/Hr. on W2

Duration: 6 Months

Work Schedule: 2:30 pm 11:30 pm Monday Friday

Job Description:

• Performs repetitive mechanical assembly involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
• Successfully completes all sitespecific training regarding safety and quality.
• Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence.
• Assembles and/or tests mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
• May assemble minor variations of inhouse standard products.
• Follows clear assembly/test instructions e.g. color code pvc thermal welding and thread taping.
• Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures.
• Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP) if applicable to site.
• Completes required documentation related to production.
• Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
• Reads and understands simple layout and assembly drawings.
• Maintains equipment and area in clean safe condition.
• Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.

Position RequirementsFormal Education Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

• Mechanical aptitude as evidenced by work experience high school/tech school coursework hobbies etc.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit stand hear and see on a constant basis. Must be able to walk write and type on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
• Must be able to bend carry reach push and pull on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
• May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
• Work surfaces may include concrete.
• Employees must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
