Job description
We are currently seeking certified and qualified Sign Language Interpreters to provide interpreting services in the Broward County FL area. Must have reliable transportation.
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to situations are both needed qualities for this project. Compensation is based on level and experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
To provide highquality interpretation and/or oral transliteration services using American Sign Language between Deaf Deafblind Hard of Hearing and Hearing individuals.
Requirements
- Fluent in ASL and spoken English
- Effectively interpret between ASL and English
- Educational experience preferred
- BEI and/or National Certification and/ or EIPA 3.0 preferred but not required in Florida
- College degree preferred
- You must adhere to the NADRID Code of Professional Conduct
