Whatthe role entails

Some of the key responsibilities of our Art Team Lead will be:

• Manage and oversee the daily performance of the art team
• Focus the team on the effective execution of delivery and strategy
• Lead by example: share best practices make sure the game art team members follow the agreed tools policy processes and guidelines for developmentorganization
• Schedule art deliverables and resource management in the game team provide support in making asset list and assign art tasks
• Provide support every visual aspect are well thought out by the art team and will be created in the best possible quality
• Apply strong illustratorartistic skills commitment to quality collaborative work ethic and cuttingedge creative skills to produce 2D art assets for the visual elements of the game
• Regularly provide and receive open and constructive feedback on performance behavior and skills
• Conduct performance reviews according to the companys current policies and processes in cooperation with Human Resources and Reporting Manager
• Encourage selfdevelopmentand continuous improvement
• Coach and mentor the art team members
• Enhance teams competence and skills through training plans
• Facilitate the communication between team members
• Support crossfunctional collaboration. Synchronize with game Producer Art director
• Conduct salary reviews according to the companys current policies and processes and in cooperation with Human Resources and Reporting Manager
• Drive recruitment activities for the game art team.
• Promote innovation within the competence area of art
• Communicate and lead change
• Ensure teams alignment to the Playn GO culture

What we ask of you

• Good leadership abilities and management skills
• Excellent artistic judgment
• Excellent communication skills
• An online portfolio of your artwork to submit for our review
• Strong level of drawing and illustration skills
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop
• Ability to provide constructive detailed feedback to suggest improvements if necessary
• Ability to present your ideas constructively
• Ability to collaborate crossdepartmentally with other Leads
• A strong desire for continuous learning

It would be a plus if you have:

• Experience working in Gaming Industry or have previously worked in Game Development in the art fields
• Prior experience as Art Manager or Art Team Lead
• Experience within a crossdisciplinary and talented team
• Strong knowledge of other Art tools
