Art Teacher / Adult Class Tutor

Wage:20 per hour

HOURS: Two classes per week.

Tuesday morning and afternoon

The Art Teacher plays a vital role in the running of the art classes. Providing teaching to adult beginners and improvers. Classes are restricted to 20 students in each morning afternoonsession.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Effective and clear communicator with strong classroom presence
Possess excellent subject knowledge
Intelligent energetic and convincing
Ability to proactively sell and promote the school courses and events to prospective students
Ability to be courteous and helpful under all circumstances
Curriculum development
Excellent organisation skills
Problem solving in the absence of the Partner
Possess at least two years experience in a similar role

DUTIES:

The duties below represent the main tasks undertaken by the Teacher
Plan and deliver a variety of entertaining and engaging art classes using different mediums
Build strong relationships with students
Ensure that pupils are taught in a happy safe and stimulating environment
Giving feedback on students progress at the end of each class and course
Keep all teaching materials up to date
