Job Description

The ASM is a crucial role within our organisation responsible for driving sales and contributing to the companys bottom line. This role plays a key part in identifying potential clients streamlining sales (both primary and secondary) and maintaining customer relationships to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and appointing new distributors in the assigned areas/districts.
  • Creating and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Negotiating and closing sales deals.
  • Building and maintaining strong longlasting customer relationships.
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Preparing sales reports and forecasts.
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Participating in sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the sales process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Prior experience in sales or a similar role preferably snacks and beverages (FMCG) industry
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of market research techniques and databases.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
