Reporting to the Head of Pharmacy and working closely with the heads of Services Retailand HR you will be supporting Managers to optimise financial performance whilst ensuringpatient safety quality and high standards are always met. We are looking for someone whois passionate about improving and seeking ways to generate growth and maximise revenue.
Purpose:
Responsible for the management and performance of a cluster of around 20 pharmacies.
You will build capable and competent teams to deliver the best community pharmacy
experience focusing on delivering KPIs and budgets ensuring patient safety and that
exceptional and high standards in performance are delivered across the Group.
Operational:
To regularly visit each pharmacy to drive business performance and lead best
practice in operational standards
Use available data and tools to diagnose analyse and formulate plans to drive
profitable growth of RX Services and OTC whilst delivering against budgets
Provide clarity and purpose to Pharmacy Managers to deliver business goals
Communicate in an effective and consistent way ensuring everyone in the branches
has clarity focus and accountability
Build highly capable engaged and diverse teams through performanceled culture
Delivers excellent standards through ensuring the delivery of regulatory professional
and NHS standards
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Community Pharmacy and
factors influencing the market
Embed ethos of excellent customer service throughout the Region
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix are maintained with each pharmacy
Optimise processes within the pharmacy to maximise efficiency
Support the digital transformation process already well underway in our pharmacies
High Performance Team:
Effectively coaching Pharmacy Mangers and their teams flexing leadership style as
required
Build highly capable engaged and diverse teams through leading performanceled
culture
Actively ensure engagement with all learning and development opportunities across
the Region
Contribute to the effective working of the wider Operations team by sharing best
practise and supporting colleagues
Utilise appropriate communication and engagement tools to ensure that all
pharmacies are up to date on area performance and priorities
Facilitate positive working relationships between individual branches head office and
warehouse
The ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified pharmacy professional
Have knowledge and experience in multisite management specifically in Pharmacy
Be a great communicator both in 1:1 and group situations
Be exemplary in working to lead and deliver the business plans
Be an excellent leader with the ability to coach and develop individuals and teams
Have a passion with keeping up to date with your own learning and development
Have ability to follow and take lead from the Company Directors Senior Leadership
team and Head Office to execute company strategy
Be able to build and maintain highly effective professional networks through building
relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Have a sound understanding of NHS Company and GPHC requirements
