An opportunity has arisen for an area engineering manager to make change in a company who are investing heavily in new machinery. My client has a strong global presence and they dominate their sector as the market leader in the UK. Through continued growth they require an area engineering manager to come in and further smooth running of the department. Great package on offer in a 9 month fixed term contract.

Your Duties:

* Plan lead and control ongoing engineering processes

* Drive continuous improvement and ensure the team is focusing on improvement areas

* Ensure the team fully complies with EIS 5 High Voltage Safety rules

* Lead a team of plant engineers and the department

Requirements

* Area engineering manager backgrounds from manufacturing construction FMCG or similar

* Experience in power generation and power distribution techniques

* Educated to degree leveland qualified to HND or similar

* Advanced knowledge with high voltage theory and systems within manufacturing

* Commutable to Newport
