Job Brief:

We are actively seeking Arabicspeaking Quality Assurance Specialists with a background in the K12 education domain to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our Arabic translations focusing on language accuracy educational appropriateness and consistency across multiple products. By executing guided test flows in English on our Arabic versions successful applicants will identify discrepancies inaccuracies and opportunities for improvement in the educational content provided to Arabicspeaking learners.

We are looking for those who bring to the table localespecific knowledge and the capability to discern and address nuances in our educational applications that may vary by cultural region. The role involves critical evaluation of our Arabic translated content across various products ensuring they align with linguistic educational and cultural standards pertinent to the target audiences locale.

Work Environment:

• This role prioritizes the understanding and application of cultural nuances requiring candidates to be deeply engaged with and knowledgeable about the regions they are reviewing.
• The position is fully remote allowing flexibility in work location. However candidates may occasionally need to align their working hours with those of teams in different time zones to facilitate collaboration and meet project deadlines.
• Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work pace with rapid changes in priorities based on project needs and cultural insight discoveries.

Responsibilities:

• Execute guided test flows in English on our Arabic version products focusing on language accuracy consistency and overall quality.
• Identify document and report any errors inconsistencies or suggestions for improvement in the Arabic translations.
• Log tickets in English detailing any issues found during the testing process.
• Work closely with the translation team to explain and clarify any linguistic issues identified.
• Ensure testing is completed in a timely and efficient manner adhering to project timelines and priorities.
• Maintain open communication with the project manager and other team members to ensure all aspects of the Arabic translations meet or exceed quality standards.
• Conduct thorough testing of Arabic version educational products paying close attention to language use educational content relevance and cultural appropriateness.
• Provide insights into cultural norms and preferences of diverse Arabicspeaking communities to guide the adaptation of content and product interfaces.

Requirements:

• Fluent in Arabic and English with a keen understanding of diverse cultural nuances within the Arabicspeaking world.
• Proven experience in localization linguistics/translation or quality assurance with a focus on delivering culturally appropriate content.
• Ability to read and comprehend test instructions in English and execute them in the Arabic version of the product.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect subtle cultural nuances in translated content.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to log issues and findings clearly and concisely in English.
• A background in the K12 education sector or familiarity with educational content tailored to Arabicspeaking students is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently to meet critical project deadlines.
• Experience with ticketing systems or defect tracking tools is a plus.
