AR Caller

Responsibilities:

Contact insurance companies patients or responsible parties to follow up on outstanding claims or unpaid invoices.

Verify insurance information and eligibility to ensure accurate billing.

Review and analyze denied or unpaid claims and take necessary actions to resolve discrepancies.

Provide excellent customer service to address inquiries related to billing and payment issues.

Document all communication and actions taken in the billing system.

Collaborate with other departments such as coding and billing to resolve billing issues.

Stay updated on insurance regulations and billing guidelines.

Physician Billing

Responsibilities:

Review and approve medical bills and coding to ensure accuracy and compliance with billing regulations.

Work closely with coding and documentation staff to ensure proper coding of medical services.

Provide guidance to the billing team on complex coding and billing issues.

Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and billing guidelines.

Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues and appeals.

Educate clinical staff on documentation practices that support accurate billing.

Monitor and analyze billing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
