The Polaris Data & Analytics Organization works with business leaders and analysts across the enterprise to drive optimized strategy using data. The Data Analyst is responsible for developing analytics products and enabling the broader organization of datafocused professionals to efficiently consume analytical solutions. You are an advocate for analytics adoption creative problem solver and a key strategic partner to the business.
Key Responsibilities :
- Day to day interaction with international stakeholders to understand the business problem
- prior business facing experience will be helpful for this role.
- Innovate and design analytics strategies to solve the business problems.
- Develop Analytics Products using SQL/Snowflake Power BI Alteryx.
- Drive waste out of the company by automating manual nonvalueadd data driven processes.
- Perform businessoutcomedriven ad hoc analytics to demonstrate the value of analytics.
- Identify and facilitate opportunities for the Data Science team to apply AI to the business.
- Grow and evolve skillsets on the team as the company matures.
- This role is fully handson individual contributor role you are responsible for endtoend
development of analytics products starting from requirement gathering design development
- testing delivery and support.
Skill & Knowledge Required :
Mandate Skills:
- 01 years of work experience in an analyticsfocused role
- Experience with data preparation visualization and processing from a diverse set of data
- sources
- Highly proficient with data mining/visualization/data modeling tools: SQL/Snowflake Power
- BI and Business facing experience. Knowledge of Alteryx is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering principles and best practices
- Experience performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting technical issues
- Naturally curious and creative problem solver with experience working in an agile environment
- Advanced knowledge of data manipulation using excel including reporting
- Intermediate knowledge of statistical methods and predictive/analytical modeling techniques
- and practices
- Intermediate knowledge of Python programming language
