Application Engineer

Partners with Project manager Delivery manager and team to deliver sprint goals using agile methodologies. Support team to deliver outcomes.

Oversee quality of product deliverables.

Attends working sessions scrums as needed to plan facilitate and deliver code aligned to product deliverables.

Take ownership of individual assignments with the ability to work independently.

Escalate issues in a timely manner. Work with Tech leads to ensure technical design and code.

Qualifications:

Cobol coding skills DB2 SQL Performance tuning CICs coding a plus JCL and batch processing VSAM file processing a plus debugging batch and CICS programs.

Plus if in addition to the above mentioned skills

Full stack developer Experience in UI NodeJS Java (Object oriented methodologies) Angular Javascript APIs/ Unit testing integration testing generation of test cases using Junit.

Knowledge of design developing and deploying using CI/CD tools like bamboo jenkins etc.

Knowledge on AWS ( EC2 S3 Dynamo DB SNS Redshift Lambda)

Financial experience a plus working knowledge of Adobe analytics or similar web analytics tools Splunk Appd Honeycomb.
