Tasks

This opportunity allows you to lead our anti-piracy You will assist in developing workflows and processes for detecting infringing content at scale, reviewing it, and submitting takedown If the website does not follow DMCA policies, you'll conduct technical analyses to identify third parties such as the hosting provider or domain registrar who can assist in taking down the infringing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct and oversee content and infringement analysis on behalf of our
• Identify patterns of copyright infringement to optimize our detection
• Prepare, review, and submit DMCA and similar takedown notices to websites, search engines, and hosting
• Perform technical analyses on infringing websites to identify potential targets for takedown

Requirements

• Several years of experience in anti-piracy operations and online investigating, preferably in anti-piracy, digital forensics, security incident response, threat intelligence, or similar
• Sophisticated understanding of and experience with DMCA and similar copyright laws
• Experience with gathering intelligence and conducting enforcement on social media platforms, forums, video hosting sites and similar
• Good technical understanding of TCP/IP, Internet routing, HTTP(S), and DNS is strongly preferred
• Fundamental understanding of Internet governance and the relationships between ISPs, domain names, Whois, IP addresses, hosting providers
• Knowledge of legal and illegal online content distribution methods, including streaming video, online file hosting, and peer-to-peer file sharing
• Knowledge of social media platforms (Discord, Telegram, Reddit, ) and how to investigate them
• Working proficiency in English
