Android Developer

On behalf of our client a leading technology firm we are actively recruiting for an Android Developer to join their offices in Nicosia. Role Overview:

As an Android Developer you will be responsible for designing developing testing and maintaining applications for devices powered by the Android operating system. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams including designers product managers and other developers to deliver highquality software solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure topnotch performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues enhancing the functionality of new applications.
• Unittest code for robustness including edge cases usability and general reliability.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Work with external data sources and APIs to deliver cuttingedge solutions.
• Continuously explore evaluate and implement new technologies for maximum development efficiency.

Must haves:

• Bachelors and Masters Degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field.
• Ideally 23 years of proven experience in Android app development.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Experience with Android SDK.
• Proficiency in working with remote data via REST and JSON.
