We are looking for a passionate Analytics Engineer to work for our Manila based client. For this role we only process candidates that are based in the Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

The Role

We are growing our Data Foundation Team and now we are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our team. As a member of the Data Foundation you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the data pipelines and data models that feed critical reports and applications used across the company. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the correct data is made available to the right people in order to make the best possible decisions and ensuring that we are a real data driven company. Your Responsibilities in Detail

• Build maintain and improve data pipelines / data models which serve all departments of the business and feed critical reports data science processes and other applications

• Continuously collaborate with the Data team and business stakeholders to collect data needs and translate them into technical requirements

• Set standards and best practices regarding data quality data governance and data modelling
  

Your Background

To join our team you bring along

• Bachelors or Masters degree with a strong focus on Engineering Mathematics Computer Science Data Science or related field

• 3 years of fulltime working experience in the fields of Data Engineering Analytics / BI Engineering or similar

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and ability to write production grade SQL code which is easy to understand simple to troubleshoot and highly performant

• Experience with data modelling frameworks for analytical purposes dbt

• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
