Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5:00PM

Job Description:

Inspecting tire wear and measuring tread depth to determine when tires need to be replaced. Inspecting vehicles for alignment issues and repairing them as needed using specialized tools and equipment. Performing wheel alignment using computerized alignment machines. Inspecting vehicle suspension components to ensure they are working properly to support the weight of the vehicle. Determining the causes of alignment problems by inspecting tires, wheels, and suspension components for signs of damage or wear. Inspecting vehicle suspension systems to ensure they are working properly.  Recommendation of repair options based on inspection findings. Measuring wheel alignment angles and adjusting them as required to ensure proper tracking. Installing new tires onto vehicles when needed based on alignment issues identified during inspection. Maintain a professional relationship with fellow employees and customers’ while. Taking ownership of removal and replacement tires. Accurately complete all work orders and related paperwork. Comply with company safety policies & procedures and participate in any safety training as required. Ensures the final product delivered meets or exceeds customer expectations and has been inspected to meet quality control standards established. 

Experience/ Requirements:

Minimum of two (2) or more years’ experience as an Alignment Shop Tech.

Required:  Valid Driver License. Preferred: ASE/TIA Certification or willingness to participate in training. 

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Must have the ability to utilize Hunter alignment and equipment. Must have experience with front end work, brakes, semi-alignments, and passenger vehicle alignments. Ability to safely operate all related auto and truck related shop tools and equipment. Maintain a high level of energy and a customer focused attitude.  Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude necessary to excel in a team environment.  Must be self-motivated and work with minimum supervision.
