MUST HAVE PROOF OF COVID VACCINATION AND BOOSTER*******Urgent Need for Experience Ultrasound Tech*****Amazing opportunity for temp Sonographer to do an assignment in Sitka Alaska.Responsibilities: Performs diagnostic imaging using ARDMS protocols for the following exams: OB/GYN; abdomen; pelvic and endovaginal; small parts including breast thyroid and scrotum; vascular including DVT arterial legs carotids. Receives patients explains procedures and selects appropriate equipment to ensure good patient care. Echocardiography is a plus. Office Duties. Performs office jobs in a small department including but not limited to: answering phones scheduling patients exams printing reports retrieving charts researching problems ordering supplies copying and mailing exams to various facilities and helping providers. Collaborates with SEARHC staff to create a positive working environment. Documentation of QA and QC for SEARHC imaging modalities. Documents: high level disinfection and other information per Joint Commission regulations.Qualifications:Education:Associates degree with certification in diagnostic sonography.Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program preferredExperience:1 year Ultrasound experienceLicense and Certifications:ARDMS or registration eligibleKnowledge Skills & Abilities:KnowledgeExtensive knowledge of the anatomy and physiology used in standard ultrasound.SkillsSkilled at independently performing ultrasound. Skilled in oral and written communication. Skilled in organizing and cleaning work areas and maintaining equipment in serviceable condition.AbilitiesAble to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with radiologists providers patients computer technologists and SEARHC staff.
