As part of our expansion we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Airport Manager to join our team at Keflavik International Airport.
Built by the U.S. military during World War II and inaugurated on March 23 1943 Keflavik International Airport has played a pivotal role in the evolution of commercial flight in Iceland. Since the opening of the new terminal building in 1987 it has become a crucial stopover point connecting Europe and the U.S. Today Keflavik International Airport is a bustling hub and we are looking for an Airport Manager to lead our operations in this dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Airport Manager you will be responsible for:
Cost and Overhead Management: Efficiently manage costs and overheads to ensure the profitable performance of the business.
Target Setting and Pricing: Set targets and pricing within company guidelines to maximize profitability.
Sales and Customer Service Management: Oversee selling and customer service activities to optimize sales performance and customer satisfaction. Develop staff competence to provide exemplary service in all areas.
Relationship Management: Manage relationships with the Airports and businesses within your remit to foster collaboration and growth.
Team Leadership and Development: Manage motivate recruit train and develop staff to help them reach their full potential within company guidelines and employment legislation.
Business Planning and Reporting: Plan and forecast seasonal demands of the business. Complete weekly reports and provide insights into business performance.
Financial Management: Be involved with budgets financial reports and collaborate with accountants in conjunction with head office and line management.
Safety and Security Oversight: Manage and maintain health and safety security and emergency systems to ensure a secure operating environment.
Audits and Reporting: Conduct regular audits on all staff and promptly report any serious irregularities or uncovering of theft.
