Aftermarket Sales Manager APAC
(Based in Singapore)
ORGANISATION:
This is a newly created position in Asia and you will be reporting to the Service team leader (APAC) based in Singapore. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Aftermarket Sales Manager to lead our customer outreach efforts in the APAC region. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling and promoting all aftermarket service activities with a strong focus on additional equipment and upgrades for installed machinery in the region. This role involves managing ongoing upgrade projects maintaining close contact with key customers and promoting longterm service support agreements.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement marketing programs and sales pitch to increase the spare parts and services sales revenue.
- Identify and pursue aftermarket sales opportunities in the APAC region including equipment upgrades and additional services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers through regular onsite visits and online communication.
- Promote longterm service support agreements and other aftermarket opportunities to enhance customer loyalty and revenue streams.
- Collaborate with internal service and sales teams to process and handle opportunities effectively ensuring seamless coordination and
- execution.
- Support and advice service and sales team in how to position spare parts offering and services offering.
- Develop strategies for efficient inventory management parts sales and services agreements.
- Operationally implement sales forecasts for the Spare Parts and after sales business and optimize inventorycarrying cost.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from initial inquiry to project completion ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Support the project delivery team following contract award.
- Update customer related calls visits and part and service sales related activities in company CRM system.
- Facilitate internal technical and commercial bid review and support the management team to maximise potential to win the business post bidding.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics Mechanical Electrical or Industrial).
- Proven experience of 5 to 10 years in aftermarket sales within the industrial automation or packaging machinery or capital equipment industry.
- Experience in packaging machinery (preferably food beverage or pharmaceutical packaging) or related industrial machinery sector is preferred.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to discuss technical products and services to various stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of aftermarket service activities including retrofits modifications equipment upgrades and longterm service agreements.
- Selfmotivated and resultsoriented with a demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and project deadlines.
- Socially confident proactively able to build relationships with customers to explore opportunities for sales.
- Analytical and good in visualizing clients requirements and coming up with solutions.
- Comfortable with travelling to customer sites across APAC region.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
