ABOUT THE TEAM

The Business Operations Department is in charge of running the bank. We are ensuring that all operational tasks are accurately processed and constantly streamlined in order to support Trade Republics steady growth. We set up implement and automate new processes as groundbreaking features are continuously introduced. Our scope of critical operational tasks includes Market Operations Payments & Customer Data Operations AFC Operations and Securities Services. We guarantee to make these core business functions industry leading. This extends to managing ongoing projects with our internal and external stakeholders such as other teams exchanges infrastructure providers and custodians. Our efforts provide the foundation for people to take their wealth into their own hands using our stateoftheart platform.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

  • Join Trade Republics Business Operations team and run one of Europes fastest growing fintechs
  • Be the expert for our payment screening tool as well as processing garnishments and authority requests.
  • Communicate with customers and assess their behaviour in a fair and logical manner
  • Conduct quality assessments on our Know Your Customer (KYC) processes
  • Manage and own projects which aim to streamline current processes and oversee the implementation of your improvements
  • Collaborate with our Compliance department on AntiMoney Laundering (AML) topics

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

  • Having obtained or currently studying for a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Economics or Law
  • Selfdriven personality with a handson approach and outstanding analytical skills with a quick understanding of new subjects and a willingness to learn and excel in a demanding startup environment
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel knowledge first practical experience in coding is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German are required additional languages can be helpful
  • Berlinbased or willingness to relocate to Berlin
