HerMD is seeking an experienced part-time Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner | NP Injector to join our full service med spa in Cincinnati, Ohio!

Requirements

Essential Skills | Aesthetic NP Injector

The successful Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner | NP Injector candidate will have a minimum of three years of professional experience specializing in aesthetic medicine.


  • Keen assessment skills, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency to provide excellent patient care, and work well under pressure.

  • Ability to multitask and consistently deliver high quality care for our patients.

  • Operating lasers, performing skin treatments, and administering injectables and fillers.

  • Sales and Marketing - meeting with local businesses to assist them in becoming more familiar with our med spas services.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a positive, professional, attitude and a passion for aesthetic medicine!

Responsibilities | Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner

  • Perform aesthetic treatments, consults, and services - which may include Botox, fillers, Sculptra, facials, peels, microneedling, light therapy treatments, IPL, radiofrequency, minimal/sublative treatments, laser hair removal, and CoolSculpting. Scope of professional practice to align with rules/regulations set forth by the state in which the injector intends to practice.

  • Effectively inform / educate patients about our treatment / service offerings, and the importance of medical-grade skincare specifically for each individual patient

  • Conduct consultations with patients to determine best treatments for their desired outcome and create a customized treatment plan.

  • Maintain knowledge of available cosmetic procedures in the market.

  • Participate in in-person and online aesthetic events.

  • Partnership - Work with our aesthetic vendors and partners to support events, manage inventory, and remain up to date on new product and service launches.

  • Marketing - Help create and distribute in-office marketing materials to support events, products and promotions.

  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and skincare products, as well as programs, promotions and / or discounts available.

  • Perform room prep, and properly clean and restock treatment rooms as required.

  • Assist in all areas of spa operations as requested by management.

  • Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.

  • Handle client questions and concerns professionally and courteously.

  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all client requests.

  • Accurately record client treatments in electronic medical records systems.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.

  • Training - Attend and participate in all training and staff meetings for the spa, including all aesthetic and product service training.

Minimum Qualifications | NP Injector

  • Masters Degree in Nursing (MSN)

  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Ohio

  • Minimum of three years of medical spa experience preferred

  • Ability to work occasional evenings for events

  • Be comfortable with sales

  • Understand the need for discretion and confidentiality in patient matters

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

  • 5 years of experience in aesthetic medicine
