Advanced ​Software Engineer iOS (Swift, ARKit) (F/M/D)

In this role, you will join the NavVis Mobile Squad and use your deep expertise in iOS development to shape the future of NavVis IVION Go for iOS. You will leverage the powerful digital twins created with the NavVis VLX as well as our cutting-edge visual positioning technology to create spatially aware user experiences for our manufacturing clients around the world.

NavVis IVION Go is our mobile app for iOS and Android. It is the digital twin in your pocket and a portal that allows you to dive into rich digital data around you wherever you go.

How you will make an impact

• You will work on our mobile app NavVis IVION Go for iOS and the NavVis Mobile SDK for iOS
• You will have the opportunity to take co-ownership of our entire iOS codebase, toolchain, and development process
• You will collaborate closely with design, product management, and of course your fellow engineers (across iOS, Android, our C++ cross-platform codebase, and our Positioning as well as our IVION backend)

What will help you succeed in the role

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in iOS development
• Profound knowledge of Swift (incl. SwiftUI, Concurrency, Combine), Xcode, the iOS application lifecycle, and common dependency management systems (CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager)
• You bring expertise in shipping iOS applications end-to-end, from implementation to App Store
• Previous experience with mobile software architectures (VIP, MVVM, MVVM-C), test automation (Unit, Snapshot, UI Tests), and CI/CD (TeamCity, GitHub Actions)
• Previous experience with ARKit or building native SDKs is very welcome
• Experience in Python / Shell scripting or previous experience in the cross-platform code base (C++) would be a plus
