(Physician Assistant only) Oversee and implement the Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program (Nurse Practitioner only) focusing on providing a comprehensive primary care experience increasing patient access improving provider recruitment and retention and improving clinical outcomes for our patients. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESContributes to a physician s efficiency by identifying short term and long range patient care issues.Recommends options and courses of action for patient care. Implement physician directives. Assesses patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examinations including obtaining updating and studying medical histories. Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests such as x rays and laboratory studies and interpreting test results. Documents patient care services by charting in the patient and department records. Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations suturing and managing wounds and infections. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols.Develop implement coordinate integrate and evaluate the work of the fellowship program to assure attainment of program goals. Lead role in designing program guidelines didactics and fellow s schedule. Assist fellows in achieving learning objectives in all desired areas of care. Supervise precep ng including providing training and feedback to preceptors. Provide direct clinical teaching in both didactic and clinical se ngs. Assist in setting up clinical rotations both within Lake Chelan Health and with outside agencies if needed. Coordinate and assist in regular evaluation of fellowship progress and performance. Collaborate with operations and clinic management to minimize disruptions to existing services and ensure that fellows are part of Lake Chelan Health and clinic culture.QUALIFICATIONSValid Washington State license ability to obtain an active Washington State license.Appropriate certification credentialing.Deals with confidential medical information and problems in a discreet manner. Consistent focus on maintaining accuracy of accounts and confidentiality of patient information. Required to maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification. Must possess basic computer skills related to Windows navigation mouse usage keyboard email communication and password management.
