Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Director of Pharmacy to join our team. In this role you will oversee and manage all administrative financial and operational aspects of the pharmacy department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy management excellent leadership and organizational skills and a passion for delivering exceptional pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans and goals for the pharmacy department in alignment with the organizations overall objectives.
  • Manage the administrative and financial functions of the pharmacy department including budgeting staffing and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws regulations and accreditation standards related to pharmacy practice.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient medication management.
  • Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy staff including hiring training and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor pharmacy performance indicators and implement quality improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Stay uptodate on industry trends and advancements in pharmacy practice and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Represent the pharmacy department in interdisciplinary meetings organizational committees and external collaborations.
Requirements:
  • PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Current state pharmacy license.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmacy management preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws regulations and standards of practice.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy technology systems and software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
