Corteva Agriscience has a tremendous administrative assistant job opportunity available in INDIANAPOLIS IN for a qualified and highly committed local individual. This position exists to support the EHS&S team.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as administrative focal point of EHS&S Academy (managing various items such as training event calendar training curriculum offerings and logistics)
Logistics management; manage meeting arrangements catering orders enrollment facilitators
Arrange meetings and conference room preparation
SharePoint page management and development
Assist with department safety responsibilities
Manage the onboarding process for area employees entering the specific wing
Manage EHS&S distribution lists and contact information
Coordinate Purchase Orders and Work Orders
Arrange access for onsite visitors using SPLAN (internal visitor system)
Ability to assist with editing internal presentations and documents (grammar formatting)
Filing copying faxing scanning and mail/shipping responsibilities
File share management (record keeping)
Potential to serve as backup Learning Administrator and/or Local Admin
Key skills include but are not limited to:
Must have very strong computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft applications particularly Word PowerPoint Excel and Outlook.
Experience managing and coordinating events and calendars.
Preferred SharePoint management and development skills.
Accuracy attention to detail and consistent thorough followthrough on tasks to completion.
Initiative to recognize what needs to be done prioritize and complete in a timely manner.
Professional demeanor positive attitude and friendly disposition.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to do whatever is needed.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with various team members leaders and clients.
Ability to manage basic tasks independently and open to ask questions when needed.
Organized dependable and has a strong work ethic.
Critical requirements of this role include but are not limited to:
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to begin work very soon usually within 12 weeks of the job offer.
Required to work 40 hours per week during our regular business hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. (Max is 8 hours/day and 40/week.)
Flexible schedule is offered (3 days in office/2 days remote); therefore dependable transportation dedication and time management skills are absolutely required.
Must have proper homework environment if electing to work remotely 2 days a week (ex. reliable internet access ergonomic environment).
