Role: ADA/Return to Work Assistant Specialist

Location: Martinez CA

Duration: 6 Months Project

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive ADA/Return to Work Assistant Specialist for a 6month project in Martinez CA. The ideal candidate will assist in managing ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accommodations and the returntowork process for employees following leave due to illness or injury. This role requires a deep understanding of ADA guidelines and effective communication skills to coordinate between employees management and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of ADA accommodations and returntowork programs.
  • Work closely with HR management and external parties to ensure compliance with federal and state laws regarding disabilities and return to work.
  • Maintain accurate records of accommodations leaves and returntowork plans.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings and preparing reports and correspondence related to ADA and returntowork cases.
  • Assist in developing and providing training on ADA accommodations and returntowork procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Psychology or a related field preferred.
  • 1 years of experience in ADA accommodations HR or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of ADA guidelines and state laws regarding disability and return to work.
  • Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
