Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is part of the Credit Control Team of West Coast Supply Group and is responsible for Credit Control processes within the West Coast Supply Group. The Accounts Receivable Specialist reports to the Manager Finance & Control.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is an ambitious educated professional who contributes in further professionalizing the Credit Control processes within the West Coast Supply Group. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is in close contact with Traders and Supply Chain to support the business and to manage credit control processes.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for one or more Legal Entities within the West Coast Supply Group.

This is how your day looks like. You:

• Maintain and update credit control procedures and make sure these are aligned with business needs and are implemented correctly;
• Align with business to assure correct use of credit control procedures including followup of outstanding customer balances and escalate possible doubtful debts to Manager Finance & Control;
• Daily processing of sales invoices including providing sales invoices to customers;
• Daily processing of sales credit invoices;
• Daily reconciliation of bank statements payments and customer balances;
• Processing of credit limit decisions in ERP system;
• Monitor and followup with credit insurance about status of open claims (debtors and creditors);
• Monitor and followup with credit insurance about credit decisions and aligning with business needs;
• Processing of credit control approval for release of sales orders in ERP system following credit control procedures;
• Biweekly reporting of most critical doubtful debts (amount and days overdue) by legal entity and division and define actions needed to Finance Leadership Team;
• Monthly reporting of accounts receivable balances DSO Bad Debt balances including Bad Debt Provision and outstanding Claims by legal entity and division aligned with Financial Reporting to Finance Leadership Team.

This is you!

• Completed Bachelors Degree in Economics or related work experience;
• At least 2 years work experience in Accounts Receivable;
• You are fluent in Dutch and English;
• You have knowledge of accounting software
• You are handson know how to set priorities and keep a cool head in the daily hectic;
• Solutionoriented perseverance independent and customeroriented describe you well.
