To support our international growth, we are now looking for an ambitious Accounts receivables & payables Specialist (m/f/d) to join our Accounting team in Berlin and liaise with customers and suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include

• You liaise with our domestic and international tax advisors and auditors in accounting and tax matters regarding VAT-Taxes.
• You take care of the accounts receivable and accounts payable management for our parent company and our international subsidiaries
• You support our accounting team in the daily operations
• You will also work with other finance team members to streamline processes and procedures
• You manage the reimbursement of travel costs and other related expenses
• Maintaining our databases regarding account receivables and account payables, updating information as needed
• You liaise with suppliers and customers regarding payments and invoicing

Our requirements

• At least 2 years of related experience in a Tax Consulting Agency or an Accounting Department
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the field of B2B invoicing in an international context
• You are an expert in the preparation of accounts for tax advisors
• Excellent knowledge in German Taxation, especially VAT (UstG)
• Good track record of working collaboratively and successfully in a cross-functional and multicultural environment, experience in fast-paced/scaling organizations or start-up would be an advantage
• Intermediate to advanced level in MS Office or Google Docs
• Knowledge of Workday Financials, Quickbooks & Lucanet is a plus
• Knowledge of Datev Unternehmen Online and Quickbooks is a plus
• Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
