Role and Responsibilities:
As the Accounts Payable Manager you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our organization. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the endtoend accounts payable process ensuring all payments are made accurately and on time
- Recording all accounts payable transactions and maintaining proper documentation
- Adhering to accounting and tax laws and standards
- Setting and managing the accounts payable departmental budget
- Following up with brands and ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues
Candidate Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you should meet the following qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related major is required
- A masters degree in finance accounting or a related major is preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field
- At least 2 years of managerial experience is preferred
- Being a Charted Accountant or Semiqualified CA is preferred
Required Skills:
To excel in this role the ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience working with popular accounts payable software
- Strong knowledge of debit and credit notes
- Proficiency in Excel and MIS
- Working knowledge of Tally and SAP
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
