As an Accounts Officer you will be responsible for various tasks essential to the smooth operation of financial processes. This includes updating the rates of services and other pertinent details on contracts. Additionally you will handle a high volume of incoming calls typically ranging from 15 to 20 calls per day where youll validate their legitimacy. Part of your role will involve managing workflow by assigning jobs and ensuring timely completion. • Minimum 2 years experience in the role
  
• Knowledge to tools like Xero Microsoft Suite (e.g. Outlook excel word)
  
• Understanding of Australian Payroll & GST (Goods & Services Tax in Australia) is preferable.
  
• Ability to work as a team and independently.

• Updating the rates of services & other pertinent details on the contract
  
• Accepting 1520 calls and validating if calls are legitimate
  
• Managing the workflow; assigning jobs
  
• Confirming/verifying if these jobs are done
  
• Managing service inbox and email communication
  
• Helping manages the urgency of things; identifies when a call should be prioritized and escalated
  
• Invoicing of jobs
  
• Coordinating with Service teams to resolve invoicing issues
  
• Ensuring the accuracy of the information gathered
  
• Other tasks that may be assigned
