We are currently seeking a proactive and detailoriented individual to fill the role of Cost Accounting Supervisor. In this position you will play a vital role on our clients team by collaborating closely with operations personnel and financial management. Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage daily staff needs to ensure tasks are completed promptly.
• Effectively communicate and present results to senior management across various departments and geographical locations.
• Showcase exceptional organizational analytical and problemsolving abilities.
• Promptly respond to internal and external auditor requests to maintain compliance.
• Review and approve monthly account reconciliations with precision.
• Analyze monthly balance sheets income statements and budget variances providing insightful summaries to upper management.
• Collaborate with operations and accounting teams offering guidance on operational transactions to ensure accurate financial accounting.
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as necessary to drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee the review of system annual standard costs and implement changes as required.
• Assist in the monthly review of project budgets to optimize resource allocation.
• Develop and implement streamlined processes for reporting and data analysis automation.
• Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets providing valuable insights for upper management review.
• Undertake adhoc financial analysis and cost accounting projects as required.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of three years of experience in accounting auditing or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Experience with Oracle Hyperion Smart View Snowflake Power BI and Alteryx is considered advantageous.
• Familiarity with manufacturing standard cost environments is preferred.
• Dedication to meeting customer requests and adhering to required time commitments.
• Ability to connect manufacturing activities system transactions and processes to financial outcomes.
