Accounting Specialist

Formation Environmental LLC is seeking a detailoriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our finance team in our Sacramento Office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the accounts payable function and other accounting tasks ensuring accuracy efficiency and compliance with company policies. The Accounting Specialist will collaborate with internal teams vendors and clients to facilitate seamless financial operations.

Skills :

• Accounts Payable Invoice Processing: Timely and accurately process a high volume of vendor invoices ensuring compliance with company policies and projectspecific requirements.
• Expense Management: Review and reconcile employee expense reports ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company expense policies.
• Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors addressing inquiries and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
• Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments including checks and electronic transfers in a timely manner.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) Assistance: Assist with monthly AR invoicing and related AR questions as needed.
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized and uptodate records of relevant accounting transactions ensuring accessibility for audits and financial reporting.
• Compliance: Stay informed about relevant tax regulations and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including project managers and finance personnel to address financial inquiries and support projectspecific requirements.
