Accounting Specialist

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detailoriented and dedicated Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and procedures with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Assist in monthend and yearend close processes.
• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
• Monitor and manage vendor and customer accounts.
• Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with audits and tax preparation as needed.
• Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPA certification or progress towards certification (preferred).
