Well established highly profitable CPA / business management firm is searching for a talented Office Manager / Accounting Manager / Bookkeeper / HR professional. We provide a wide range of tax and related business services to individual and commercial clients primarily in the entertainment industry.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Proficiently process A/P A/R cash receipts invoices collections and recording of journal entries and cash disbursements
  • Supervise administrative staff
  • Reconcile bank and broker statements
  • Data entry and coding of all financial transactions
  • Full charge bookkeeping with preparation and delivery of monthly financial statements
  • Generate reports and packages for tax preparation
  • Process payroll and reconcile annual and quarterly payroll reports
  • Process and prepare annual 1099s and 1042s
  • Efficiently assist inhouse partners and clients and clients representatives as needed with issues related to personal or business transactions billing petty cash payroll and miscellaneous issues as they arise
  • Daily interaction and effective communication with staff members
  • Prioritizing task and understanding what is urgent
  • Liaison with medical insurance department to verify they have all necessary information
  • Other special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

  • Education Bachelors Degree or some college education
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as CCH Datafaction or QuickBooks
  • Proficiency with Excel and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Personable positive and enthusiastic attitude to work with a variety of personalities
  • Proficient in overseeing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines
  • Strong work ethic
