Accounting Manager

As part of Mazars strategic move to create a centralized service to serve clients across Europe we have created a Global Compliance & Reporting service with teams processes and technology that allows multinational groups to meet all their accounting tax payroll and legal obligations and commitments both locally and internationally while having accurate information centralized and delivered from our Center of Excellence (CoE).

We are hiring an Accounting Manager to join this strongly growing team in Barcelona.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a strategic project at Mazars and to work in an Englishspeaking and truly international environment with a high number of countries across Europe.

Your mission:

• Direct interaction with the different clients
• Review of reporting analytical accounting treasury forecasts as well as any additional information requested by the client
• Ensure all deliverables are sent on time and manner to the client
• Followup and planning of teams activities to ensure effective delivery
• Training and support to all professionals
• Organize and manage time and resources to answer clients demand
• Participate actively in the recruitment process
• Ensure and control the productivity of the team as well as the profitability of the project
• Participate in the Business development strategy and plan
• Be the main contact of the CoE with the rest of Mazars partners and colleagues

Your profile

• Bachelors degree in accounting business administration economics or similar
• Additional courses and knowledge of IFRS US GAAP and Tax are valuable
• Minimum 58 years working experience in a multinational environment.
• Experience in Big4 or similar in Spain is an asset.
• Experience in team management
• High knowledge of ERP (SAP Oracle Navision or similar) and Excel
• Good oral and written communication in English (B2 or higher)
• Interest and ability to multitask in a multidisciplinary environment
• Ability to prioritize workload and ability to work with strict reporting deadlines
