Position Overview:

As an Accounting/Bookkeeping Assistant at CCI Group youll be an integral part of our dedicated team responsible for ensuring seamless daytoday financial operations. Were seeking a reliable disciplined and highly organized individual who thrives in a fastpaced environment. Your role will encompass a wide range of tasks from supporting our accounting operations and managing accounts to building and maintaining vital uptodate financial operations. A proactive approach to problemsolving and a willingness to tackle challenges headon are essential as is the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Compliance with applicable federal laws and regulations and have a basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
  • Process invoices receipts and other financial documents in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
  • Help with payroll processing and related tasks including calculating hours worked preparing paychecks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist in conducting audits and other financial analyses as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department such as filing documents answering phones and responding to inquiries.
  • Assess the service needs of clients and connect them with the appropriate department.
  • Analyze client issues and provide recommendations for effective problem resolution.
  • Ensure each client receives necessary services and followup to address ongoing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal laws and regulations depending on the client.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and utilize positive interpersonal communication skills.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism with customers staff vendors and individuals associated with CCI Group.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field preferred (or currently pursuing a degree).
  • Prior internship or work experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint Teams) as well as familiarity with remote collaboration tools.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
  • Bilingual is highly desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and learn quickly.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
