Tasks

As a specialist point of contact in the finance department for technical issues related to Swiss GAAP FER / Key function in ensuring compliance of all financial transactions according to Swiss GAAP FER / Supporting business units and implementing new financial initiatives or investments in the systems / Responsible for consistent and accurate financial information / Responsible for the further development of the Swiss GAAP FER accounting policies and for projects in connection with this financial standard / Supporting the finance department in the application of the guidelines / Assisting in the consolidation and in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and annual reports / Performing performance analyses for various areas of the company / Responsible for quality management in regulatory reporting and documentation / Responsible for maintaining the interfaces to Controlling Tax and Audit / Responsible for supervising the external audit / Ad hoc projects and training.

Requirements

Master or Bachelor in Accounting / CPA or ACCA diploma preferred / Experience with Swiss GAAP FER and sound knowledge of related regulation / Experience in an international financial service company or in an audit firm with focus on bank or insurance / Global mindset and ability to work in a team / Interested in working effectively in an international matrix organization / Proactive and handson approach to solve complex problems / Excellent communicator and networker / Credible in dealing with business partners / Fluent in written and spoken English.
