Position Overview:

As an Accountant with our fashion brand you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our financial operations. You will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks GST filing and tracking daily billing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles excellent analytical skills and a passion for the fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daytoday accounting activities including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.

Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and maintain proper documentation and records.

Prepare and file GST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements and assist with GST audits when necessary.

Monitor and track daily billing activities reconcile invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements variance analysis and budget forecasts.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and address financial inquiries.

Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations tax laws and industry best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Support the finance team in adhoc projects process improvements and system enhancements.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.

Proven experience as an Accountant preferably in the retail or fashion industry.

Strong understanding of accounting principles GST regulations and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
