Our client is an expanding Accountancy Practice based in Leicester and has been in operation for over 8 years. They have forged a niche within the market where they serve clients from startups to well established medium sized organisations. They are now looking to grow their business by providing an entire range of accountancy services to their various clients. These positions will suit Accountants who are looking to forge a career in a growing practice and are looking to become future partners in the business.

THE ROLE:

This is a handson role where you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio across statutory accounts management accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT. The role will include:

• Attending client meetings.

• Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders Partnerships and Limited Companies.

• Corporation tax calculations.

• Completing complex management account accounts bookkeeping and VAT.

• Overseeing basic bookkeeping and VAT returns of more junior staff.

• Managing a diverse client portfolio.

To be considered for this role you need to have no less than 3 years’ experience of working with Practice and preferably an ACA/ ACCA Qualification. You need to be comfortable with working on your own and also as part of a team.
