Overview:

The Accountant plays a crucial role in the organizations financial operations ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. They are responsible for maintaining financial records analyzing data and providing insights to support strategic decisionmaking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain financial records and statements
  • Prepare and analyze budgets and financial reports
  • Conduct regular financial audits and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business operations
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Participate in financial forecasting and planning
  • Support the implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address financial queries
  • Contribute to the development of financial strategies and goals
  • Utilize accounting software to maintain and organize financial data
  • Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and standards
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
  • Identify areas for process and cost improvements
  • Assist with financial risk management

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CPA CMA or ACCA
  • Proven experience in accounting or financial management
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of tax laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with auditing processes and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptability to technological advancements in the field of accounting
  • Ethical conduct and integrity in handling financial matters
